As California Covid restrictions ease, the county dashboard shows Redlands remains in the "Substantial Risk" category with a 6.8% positive test rate.
As of February 24, 299 Redlands residents (according to data from the California Disease Reporting and Surveillance Systems) have died of Covid-19. The city has a 1.7% case fatality rate.
79.4% of those eligible have received a vaccination, with 69.2% fully vaccinated.
Forty new cases have been confirmed in the Redlands Unified School District in the last fourteen days, affecting 0.18% of the district, a significant drop from the Omicron surge. California is expected to review school masking guidelines on February 28.
